MY KNITTING ADVENTURE

I began knitting at a very early age surrounded by a creative family. As a young mother I bought my first knitting machine and my life was transformed.

I was soon knitting clothes for myself and my two daughters as well as cushions, throws and blankets for family and friends.

I embarked on a City & Guilds course in design and knitting which enhanced my love of colour and texture. As my designing skills improved I found I was able to satisfy my desire for the unusual and individual.

Seven years ago I moved to the South Coast where I have been greatly influenced by the beautiful rolling South Downs and the dramatic seascapes of the Seven Sisters. How could anyone fail to be inspired by such exquisite surroundings and colours? My designs have become more fluid and organic.

The soft flowing wraps, shawls and rugs on which my new collection is based, will, I trust, evoke a little of the beauty and magic of the landscape of my spiritual home.
